  4. Preheat the chicken in the oven to a high position. Remove the cooking liquid from the fine mesh strainer (from the bottom of the slow cooker) and allow it to drain about 2 cups. Skim the fat from the top and discard (if needed).

  5. Heat butter or olive oil in a small pot or saucepan over medium heat. Whisk the eggs in the flour and cook them to help break down any clumps until they turn brown, but do not burn, for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir in the cooking liquid and boil slightly over medium-low heat, while stirring occasionally, until it is reduced by half in 5 to 10 minutes, until it becomes a glaze.

  6. At the same time, spread foil on a baking sheet and use a slotted spoon or spatula to carefully transfer the chicken and sweet potatoes to one layer (don’t let the pieces fall apart).

  7. Pour/brush the thickened cooking liquid on the chicken and potatoes and place under the grilled chicken until it is foamy and dark brown for 6 to 8 minutes, then eat immediately.
