Molds come in various sizes, shapes, textures, and colors, and molds are usually characterized by white or gray powdery fungi.

When you see “mold”, you are likely to see a mold in the Ascomyceta family, which tends to be lighter in color and more powdery in texture. (You may have heard the term “powder mold”, which is a plant disease caused by ascomy fungi.)

One type of mold that belongs to this ascomycete is Aspergillus, a sensitizer that can cause adverse health reactions. Aspergillus tends to look like a white/gray powdery substance, suitable for “mold” barrels.

Aspergillus will produce what is called Mycotoxins, Which may irritate allergy-like symptoms or a permanent cold that seems to never go away. Mycotoxins are also associated with neurological and neuropsychiatric symptoms, including pain syndromes, movement disorders, delusions, and balance and coordination disorders.

This is a common but potentially harmful mold. We often see this mold in the renovation industry of the entire family-mostly on windows, surrounding frames and window sills; on doors and frames leading to the outside ; Under the bath mat; on the shower curtain, usually between the liner and the curtain; and bathroom grout or caulk.

At the connection point, it is best to pay more attention when mold appears in your home.
