In this week’s “Health and Happiness”, Joey and Vivian explained how pets are good for health, whipped up delicious cinnamon buns, and discussed what really happens when you open your knuckles. Pet allowance
We love our furry friends: According to statistics, 45% of Americans have Fido or Max under their roofs, and a third of them have Kitty or Felix. They love us right away-pets can actually help our health and happiness. Grooming, petting and walking pet animals can provide immunity-enhancing kicks. Pets can also be good for the heart because they can lower blood pressure, cholesterol and triglycerides, and can increase people’s exercise. They can also reduce depression and loneliness. Not a pet owner? Visit a friend of a cute and lovely creature to get all these benefits.

Tips for cleft knuckles
About half of us smash knuckles, and we can make knuckle biscuits more than five times a day! But will this habit cause harm? A quick anatomy lesson: synovial fluid is the lubricant that surrounds your joints. The sound we call “bursting” actually refers to the bubbles in the liquid that bursts in the joints, similar to bubble wrap. The function, grip and range of motion of the knuckle biscuit are the same as those of the non-finger biscuit, but the thickness of the cartilage may be thicker than that of the knuckle biscuit. Bottom line: If this doesn’t cause you pain and your family doesn’t complain, then you don’t have to stop ejecting.

Edible headache helper
A simple food therapy may help relieve headaches: Flaxseed, a plant-based source of omega-3 fats, has been shown to reduce the frequency, duration and severity of headaches. Look for ground flaxseed; the powder form is easier to digest, then mix it with yogurt, oatmeal, cheese, add smoothies or stir into a batter. Flaxseeds can also be used as an egg substitute in recipes; mix 2 tablespoons of water with 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds and put them in your recipe.

Happy stroll
How many teaspoons of sugar are in regular cinnamon buns? If you guessed 14, you are right! The American Heart Association recommends that women add no more than 6 teaspoons of sugar, and men no more than 9 teaspoons of sugar, which means you have to skip most store-bought or store-made sugars.Replaced by whipped Joy’s homemade bread cinnamon. You will get real enjoyment.

Supermarket Wisdom
Become a savvy shopper through the following five tips:
• Do not shop on an empty stomach.
• Stick to the surroundings, where you can find essentials such as French fries, dairy products and protein.
• Make a list and stick to it; this will reduce impulse buying.
• Hit the frozen food aisle to reduce waste and spoilage (you can also save cash).
• Avoid processed foods and check the ingredient list.
